Geraldine Manser

Geraldine has been involved with QMLC for about 15 years. She was born and grew up in Papua New Guinea, and every winter she wonders how she ended up living somewhere so cold!

She has a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and has experience delivering a range of community based health promotion projects. She currently works for a community organisation that works to make health care services in the ACT easier to access and better for patients.

Geraldine has a strong belief in social justice and the importance of improving access to health care for everyone, particularly people struggling to get health care that meets their cultural and language needs.

She has spent nearly 20 years working in the areas of community development, community consultation and engagement, service planning, policy, finance and governance, and managing State and Commonwealth government funded programs.
